When i turn the key the car won start but my alarm will start to go off i put my foot on the break and the alarm will stop the only why i get the car on is if i mess with the battery terminal it will get power and will start. Do i need new battery terminals or a battery. ( Iv cleaned the battery outputs and the terminals)

at school i do latin vocabulary tests, so we get told to learn about 20 words and then get tested on them later the week. i learn them all at once and then i do the test and get a good grade. but then later the term or at the end of year tests, i need to revise loads because i forget all the words. can someone help me revise them in a way that i wont forget them so easily after about a week? thanks
